Kindergarten me wanted to be an artist or an author when I grew up. Grown up me is very excited that I get to do both. Well, an author of your story!

During my first pregnancy, I felt called to birth work…

Birth photography is my dream job. I would love to record this once in a lifetime journey for you.

…but I was in art school. I felt like I had to choose - art or birth work? After graduating, I birthed 5 redheaded daughters. I’ve been raising them and doing art in the margins of my days since.

I tried my hand at family photography and was not feeling inspired. I started bringing my camera to little events instead and the inspiration started to flow.

I spent a year working for an influencer in Maui, including editing videos. During a busy season, she asked me to help edit a birth video she had recorded. That was when my calling clicked. I could do art and birth work. I could be a storyteller!

What areas do you serve?

I live in McMinnville, Oregon and hope to meet and serve families near me! I am available to document births in Yamhill County and surrounding areas.

What if labor happens unexpectedly?

We will have a plan for that! We will go over all of the nitty gritty in a consultation meeting beforehand and I will be able to answer any questions. We will also have a contract in place for all of the unexpected.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes! for the Birth Story package, it will be a $300 retainer to reserve your birth window + four monthly payments of $175.
